It was a huge piece of work to undertake, but after months of colleagues pulling together from right across #TeamCHFT, our new CHS Outpatient Pharmacy Teams are in place, and everything is running smoothly. Pictured are some of the teams in their new uniforms in their rebranded pharmacy spaces.
Superintendent Pharmacist, Nigel Watson (pictured right), said: “The transfer from Rowlands Pharmacy to our CHS Outpatient Pharmacy last month was a real team effort from start to finish and has involved many teams from across both sites.
“Over the transfer weekend, volunteers from both Rowlands Pharmacy and CHFT Pharmacy did a full stock count to ensure that the computer levels were accurate, as CHS purchased all drugs from Rowlands based on their computer stock levels. We did have a couple of challenges over that weekend, but they were overcome with teamwork.
“My gut feeling is that many patients and other users of the service won’t have noticed the transition, which was always the intention of the transfer.
“My thanks again to colleagues who went the extra mile, working on days off, in their holidays and way into the evenings. Special thanks to Lead Pharmacy Technician, Andrea Moroney for masterminding the stock counts on transfer weekend, Outpatient Pharmacy Contract Manager, Nicky Jagger for her full support with the transfer and CHS Head of Commercial Projects, Sam Turner for keeping the project on track. Thanks must also go to Graphic Designer, Mike Simpson, for his work in pulling together our new branding.
“It’s also been an absolute pleasure to welcome the staff from Rowlands into the CHS family.”
For information, Lois Cantrell is Pharmacy Manager at HRI, and Kameo O’Hara is the CRH Pharmacy Manager.
