The Counter Fraud Team has seven members of staff and is part of the Internal Audit consortium, Audit Yorkshire. The team provide a counter fraud service - which includes training, information and support - to 17 NHS organisations.

Part of their role is to raise awareness about the latest scams. You can read more in the newsletter attached, but here is a summary of the latest scams to be aware of:

• WhatsApp "HR" scam
• Fake prize email scam
