Last week our panels had the mammoth task of shortlisting the 420 CHuFT Award nominations, ahead of the finalists being announced this Friday in Chief Executive, Brendan Brown's weekly message.
Clinical Lead Bariatric Dietitian, Mel Langley (bottom right, photo below), said: "It was an absolute honour and privilege to shortlist for the Awards, reading about the excellent work which is going on within the Trust by all our colleagues. It certainly gave me food for thought. There are so many fantastic things happening at #TeamCHFT that the group wanted to put everyone through to the finals. So to whittle it down to just five finalists in the category took a lot of discussion by all around the table. I wish everyone the best of luck and an enjoyable time on the 24th July at the Awards."
Inpatient Therapy Team Leader, Jayne Duffy (pictured right), said: "I won a CHuFT Award in 2020 in the Making a Difference Category, so it has been great to be able to go behind the scenes and see how it all works from the other side. I feel quite honoured that I won one, the standard of entries is so high!"
Good luck to all CHuFT Award finalists and thank you to everyone who shortlisted.
