West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is working to better understand the experiences of people with lived experience of obesity, alongside the perspectives of the healthcare professionals involved in providing support. Whether you have personal experience or work in healthcare, your insights are vital to improving support and shaping better services.
There are two surveys currently open - one for healthcare professionals and one for people with lived experience:
1. Healthcare professionals - share your insights If you work in primary or community care, or any frontline healthcare role, your perspective is crucial. Help the ICB to understand the day-to-day realities of supporting people living with obesity.
The survey covers:
- challenges in care delivery
- gaps in training or services
- suggestions for improving obesity support services
This survey takes around eight to 10 minutes to complete. Take the professional survey. You can also opt-in at the end of the survey to join a follow-up focus group discussion with fellow professionals.
2. Share your lived experience of obesity
If you are living with obesity, please share your experiences. Your voice will help ensure support pathways truly reflect the needs of people across West Yorkshire, Humber and North Yorkshire.
The survey asks about:
- everyday challenges and experiences
- access to healthcare and weight management support
- what changes could make services better
This survey takes around 11 to 13 minutes to complete. Take the lived experience survey.
