The first clinics were held at Bowling Mill, Dean Clough last week, with outstanding feedback from both patients and colleagues.
From last Tuesday, 22nd April, the ground floor of Bowling Mill, became home to the following services (who were previously located at Beechwood Medical Centre):
- Bladder and Bowel Outpatient Service
- Lymphoedema Outpatient Service
- Podiatry Outpatient Clinics
From Friday, 9th May, Physiotherapy Outpatients (currently at CRH) and the Amputee Outpatient Service will operate from the ground floor.
Pictured is Richard, who had a clinic appointment with Lymphoedema Specialist Nurse, Laura Potter. Richard and his wife said that they loved the new clinic environment at Dean Clough, they attended via hospital transport and found the setting to be bright, airy and peaceful.
Some other comments from patients include:
“Happy that the building has purpose”
“Its clean and airy”
“ Found reception staff welcoming”
Colleagues have also commented that they like the new clinic space, it all feels clean, fresh and bright and clinic rooms are a really good size.
Community Therapies, UCR, and District Nursing Hubs 4&5/Central and North moved onto the fourth floor in the week of the 14th April and are using this as their new agile working area.
