CHFT will be celebrating Eid Al-Fitr on Monday, 14th April between 13:30 and 14:30 in the Boardroom at HRI's Learning Centre. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the celebration and sample some cultural foods at the same time.
The event will feature talks from Research Health Care Professional Zuleikha Mulla, Council of Mosque, Nadeem Mir and Deputy Chief Executive, Rob Aitchison.
Chaplin, Zeenat Hussain, said: "Eid Al-Fitr celebration is to mark the end of Ramadan. It seeks to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and accomplishment of an important pillar of Islam. This celebration is to express gratitude to Allah (God) for giving strength, patience, and spiritual blessings throughout this holy month. Attendees can expect to be educated, included, and well fed!"
