In the lead up to Clinical Audit Awareness Week (CAAW), 2nd to 6th June, CHFT’s Clinical Audit Competition 2025 is open for entries. We’re looking for the best clinical audits performed by colleagues over the past year. Entries are open until Wednesday 23rd April.

Clinical Audit Awareness Week (CAAW) is a national campaign to promote and celebrate the benefits and impact of clinical audit and quality improvement work in healthcare.

Audits are welcomed from clinical and non-clinical staff of all grades, so why not compete to be in with a chance of presenting at our Trustwide Clinical Audit Meeting on Wednesday, 4th June. 

How to get involved and how are the audits scored?

• Have you completed an audit recently?
• Would you like your findings to reach a wider audience?
• Has your project shown improvements in patient care and/or experience?

Simply complete the online form and upload your presentation via this link CHFT Clinical Audit Competition (#CAAW25) (please email audits@cht.nhs.uk if you need support). 

The closing date for submissions is Wednesday, 23rd April.

Audits will be peer-reviewed and receive feedback for learning and reflection. The four highest scoring will be chosen for presentation and receive a certificate of excellence. 

We know there's lots of great Clinical Audit projects being undertaken in the Trust. This is your chance to share what you've achieved and become a CHFT Clinical Audit Hero!
