Appraisal Season begins tomorrow, Tuesday, 1st April, and our Organisational Development Team are offering Connect and Learn sessions from this coming Wednesday to support managers.

The sessions will cover: how to have effective appraisal conversations, the purpose, what a good appraisal looks like, and the responsibilities of both parties.  

The latest NHS Staff Survey results show we are doing better at making sure that appraisals happen every year and that people come away with clear objectives. There was a slight drop in the number of colleagues who felt appraisals helped to improve how they do their jobs, and in how they feel in terms of their work being valued, which these sessions are designed to support managers with. 

The sessions run on MS Teams, for 90 minutes, on the following dates:

• Wednesday, 2nd April, 11am 
• Monday, 28th April, 1pm 
• Friday, 23rd May, 10am 
• Tuesday, 24th June, 2pm
