Last year a national review was announced about the role of physician associates and their contribution to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The review will make recommendations to inform future Government policy.
As part of the review we have been asked to share a survey about the role that physician associates play in our multidisciplinary teams. The survey is open to all healthcare professionals, but they particularly want to hear the views of people currently or previously working as a physician associate and doctors working or previously working with physician associates.
You can complete the survey by clicking on the link here: Independent review of physician associates and anaesthesia associates: survey of healthcare professionals - GOV.UK
It only takes around 10 minutes to complete and is open until 11:59pm on Sunday, 30th March 2025.
A listening exercise: engagement webinars for healthcare professionals
As part of the review, Professor Gill Leng will be hosting a series of engagement webinars aimed at PAs, resident doctors and other healthcare professionals. These provide you with an opportunity to share your thoughts, views, and questions about the physician associate and anaesthesia associate professions. Details of these and how to join are in the attachment below.
