He did it – and what fabulous weather he had for it too!

Last weekend, Senior Dispensing Assistant, Jamie Whiteley, did his first charity skydive to raise money for Andy's Man Club to help raise awareness around men's mental health.

He said: “The day was amazing; I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of the day and the experience. I would do it again and would recommend it to anyone interested in doing a skydive.

“On the morning of the jump day, I definitely had a few nerves, but once I had arrived at the airfield and had gone through my induction training, the nerves soon went, and I felt excited and couldn't wait to do the skydive.”

Male suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. Charities like Andy's Man Club aim to help stop this by running free peer-to-peer support groups across the UK.

Jamie has surpassed his £1,000 target on his fundraising page and is grateful to all his colleagues, friends and family for their support. His two cousins did the skydive with him and between them they've raised around £1,700. There is still time to donate a few pennies if you can spare them, as the page will remain open for another week or so.
