Sister Melissa Hall wants to say a huge thank you to colleagues in HRI in Surgical Outpatients, after setting them an Easter raffle challenge. Receptionists Chantel Nolan, left, and Megan Griffith stepped up, and their enthusiasm saw the department raise £411. 

Melissa, a new sister to Surgical Outpatients, said: “Prizes for the raffle were donated by colleagues in the department and it was a real team effort. The money raised will be put back into the department for patient comfort. We receive a lot of visitors to the unit, some of whom receive bad news, so it is important to create a warm and welcoming environment.

“Chantel and Megan really smashed it and I’m super proud of the team in SOPD."
