We said farewell last week to Inpatient Therapy Team Leader, James Lendon.

After 16 years at CHFT, James has taken on a new role as Improvement and Transformation Lead for Pulmonary Rehabilitation within the West Yorkshire Network.

James’ new role will be looking at improving Pulmonary rehab services for patients across West Yorkshire.

James started at CHFT as a junior physiotherapist in 2007, working through his core rotations before moving into Physiotherapist in respiratory followed by a team lead role in Pulmonary Rehab. More recently he has completed roles as AHP Workforce Manager and Team Lead for Inpatient Therapy.

Therapy Service Manager, Karen Turkington, said: “I would like to say a big thank you to James for all his support to the inpatient therapy teams, to his fellow team leads and also to myself.  He will be greatly missed, and I have no doubt he will excel in his new role.”
