Marigold image which will make colleagues aware that a patient is nearing the end of their life

Following the vote for the design of the Marigold logo, the End-of-Life Care Team will be starting a pilot a week today, ahead of rolling it out more widely at CHFT.

The marigold sign in a patient area, or by a bedside will indicate that the patient is approaching the end of life. It is a reminder to all colleagues in ward areas to be particularly sensitive at this difficult time for patients and families and to provide them with the compassionate care we pride ourselves on.   

The pilot starts on wards 6, 15 and ICU at HRI, and on 5A-D, 6A and 6C at CRH next Monday 13 February.
